Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the PayMeLah application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
PayMeLah is a bill-splitting application that helps users scan receipts, assign items to participants, and track balances for settlement via PayNow or PayLah. PayMeLah does not process, hold, or transfer money on your behalf. All payments occur directly between users through third-party payment services (PayNow, PayLah).
User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- One person may not create multiple accounts to abuse the service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Upload content that is fraudulent, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
- Use the App to harass, defraud, or mislead other users.
No Financial Advice
PayMeLah provides bill-splitting calculations for convenience only. We are not a financial institution and nothing in the App constitutes financial advice. You are solely responsible for verifying any amounts before making or requesting payment.
Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including the PayMeLah name, logo, design, and software, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayMeLah and its developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any payment disputes between users.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings β Delete Account.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
